The Buylist is ScanPower's way to record the purchase date, cost, price, quantity, source/supplier, shopper and net payout at the time you purchase inventory to resell. This information follows the item(s) through the lifecycle of the item from the time it is listed until it is sold. 


You may add items to the Buylist in a variety of ways:


Listing in a batch in PREP & SHIP individually or through Import Inventory or Import Spreadsheet


Via ScanPower Mobile App

For detailed instructions on how to use the mobile app, including the settings and more, see Mobile Guide). Login to the mobile app (available at the Apple or Google Play store). From the main screen scan or enter an item's UPC or search by Title. 


The Buy Dialog



When the "Buy" button is selected the Buy Dialog opens allowing you to enter: 

  1. quantity buying
  2. cost of item
  3. condition
  4. source
  5. expiration date
  6. tax amount
  7. up to 2 discounts, which remain until change of source
  8. tax code
  9. notes for preppers, virtual assistants, or listers
  10. select back arrow returns to the main screen
  11. select check mark to save

Clicking the checkmark adds the item to the buylist.

You can accomplish the same thing using the desktop version of our mobile app, found at mobile.scanpower.com. 

  1. Enter the UPC, ASIN, ISBN, or search by Title/Keyword.
  2. Select the BUY button:
  3. That will open the Buy Dialog screen where you can enter:
    1. quantity buying
    2. cost of item
    3. condition
    4. source
    5. expiration date
    6. tax amount
    7. up to 2 discounts, which remain until change of source
    8. tax code
    9. notes, such as those for preppers, virtual assistants, or listers
    10. select back arrow returns to the main screen
    11. select check mark to save

That successfully adds the item to the buylist. 



Import from Buylist into PREP & SHIP 

Login to your ScanPOw


Select "Buylist" from the Import dropdown.

You will see a screen that features the items currently on your buylist. You may choose to use the filters (purchased dates, ASIN/UPC/MSKU/Title, Category, Shopper, Source, or Size Tier) to focus your list. 



Select the items you wish to import into the batch and use the bottom menu to Import selected or to Import All. 



Items will appear in the batch and can be added to a shipment using the Create Shipping Plan button.
