How to Use Global Search in Prep & Ship Amazon

Using Global Search in ScanPower Prep & Ship Amazon

Written by Pankaj Singhal

The Global Search feature in ScanPower Prep & Ship (Amazon) allows you to quickly locate batches by searching for a product or shipment identifier. Instead of manually opening each batch, you can search using common identifiers and immediately find the list of batches that contains the item or the shipment identifier.

This is particularly useful when you need to locate a shipment, verify an item, or continue working on an existing batch.

Overview

Global Search searches across your Prep & Ship batches and returns any matching batches based on the search criteria you provide.

You can use Global Search to quickly locate batches containing a specific product or shipment without having to browse through your batch list.

Supported Search Types

Global Search supports searching by the following identifiers:

  • ASIN

  • Product Title

  • Keyword

  • MSKU (Merchant SKU)

  • FNSKU

  • Shipment ID

Simply enter any of the above values into the Global Search box in Prep & Ship Amazon, and it will display the batches containing matching items.

How to Use Global Search

  1. Go to ScanPower Prep & Ship Amazon.

  2. Locate the Global Search option as shown in the image below.

  3. Enter any supported search value, such as an ASIN, Product Title, Keyword, MSKU, FNSKU, or Shipment ID.

  4. Press Enter or click the Search icon.

Search Results

After performing the search, ScanPower displays all matching Prep & Ship batches that contain the item or shipment matching your search criteria.

From the search results, you can open the desired batch directly and continue working on it.

I can't find my batch in the Prep & Ship Amazon Global Search Results

If Global Search does not return the expected batch:

  • Verify that the search value is correct.

  • Check whether the batch is Archived.

  • If the batch has been archived, enable the Archived toggle before searching.

  • If the batch is active, ensure the Archived toggle is disabled.

  • Search again using a different identifier such as the ASIN, MSKU, FNSKU, or Shipment ID.

This makes it clear that the Global Search respects the currently selected Active/Archived filter, which is likely to answer one of the most common user questions.

Tips

  • Use the complete ASIN, MSKU, FNSKU, or Shipment ID whenever possible for the most accurate results.

  • If you don't know the exact identifier, search using a portion of the Product Title or a relevant Keyword.

  • If multiple batches contain the same item, all matching batches will be displayed.
