If you have an account with ScanPower and want an existing 3PL to Prep & Ship for you from their 3PL warehouse, you can grant them access to your ScanPower account so they can manage your inventory, create shipments, pack items, and perform other warehouse operations on your behalf.
This article explains how to add a Prep Center to your account.
Before You Begin
Before granting access, make sure you have the Prep Center's ScanPower account email address . This is the email address associated with the Prep Center's main ScanPower account.
Granting Access to a Prep Center
Log in to your main ScanPower account (not a sub-user account).
Navigate to the Account page.
Scroll down to the Prep Centers section.
Click Grant Access.
Enter the 3PL email address and click Check.
If the address is valid , Select the ship from address the prep-center will ship from.
Click Grant Access.
Once the Prep Center accepts or the access is granted, they will be able to access your account based on the permissions available to them.
What Happens Next?
After granting access:
The Prep Center will be able to switch to your account from their Prep Center dashboard.
They can perform warehouse operations on your behalf, including:
Receiving inventory
Creating and managing batches
Packing items
Printing labels
Creating shipments
Managing Purchase Orders (if applicable)
All activity is performed within your ScanPower account while maintaining proper user tracking.
Revoking Prep Center Access
If you no longer want a Prep Center to access your account:
Log in to your main ScanPower account.
Navigate to the Account page.
Scroll to the Prep Centers section.
Locate the Prep Center you want to remove.
Click the X or Revoke Access option.
The Prep Center will immediately lose access to your account.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the Prep Centers section.
Ensure you are logged in using your main ScanPower account, not a sub-user account.
If the section is still missing, contact ScanPower Support.
The Prep Center cannot access my account.
Please verify that:
You entered the correct Prep Center email address.
The Prep Center is using the same ScanPower account associated with that email address.
The Prep Center has refreshed or signed back into ScanPower after access was granted.
