In addition to the strict protocols for prepping and shipping your FBA products, Amazon may also apply storage limits to seller accounts. Storage limits and usage are based on volume (measured in cubic feet). All individual selling accounts are subject to storage limits, while professional selling accounts may or may not be, depending on factors including length of account activity and the seller's Inventory Performance Index (IPI).

Exceeding your FBA storage limit may result in the inability to create new shipments. Excess inventory may be refused by the fulfillment center, so it is important that sellers monitor usage and pay attention to shipping warnings that might be returned when attempting to create shipments.
