"NEW" ribbon will appear for the items in the batch which does not have existing listing in Seller Central.
Once you have all the items in the batch, click on "Some items with missing Information" or "Create Listing" at the bottom of the page.
This will take couple of minutes to send the listing data to amazon and once amazon process the data and revert with the listing data accepted, this ribbon will go away.
You can then create the shipments for these items.
