Overview
When creating a Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) shipment in ScanPower, you may encounter one or more of the following errors:
ERROR There's an issue with the data for sku. Please resubmit the item by uploading a WFS template with the same information as before. Item Nbr is not present
Item is not SI active. Please remove this item. ERROR sku must be Walmart-fulfilled or WFS eligible. Please convert the item before sending inventory. Item is not WFS Eligible
ERROR There's an issue with the item sku. Please verify the item details and resubmit.Issue with item category: DATA
Cause
These errors are returned directly by Walmart and indicate that one or more items are not yet eligible for Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS).
Before seller fulfilled inventory can be shipped to a Walmart Fulfillment Center, each item must first be converted to a WFS item within Walmart Seller Center.
If an item has not been converted or is missing required Walmart information, shipment creation will fail.
How to Verify
You can verify whether an item has been converted to WFS by checking it in walmart Seller Center or ScanPower > Prep & Ship > Walmart WFS→ Catalog.
If the SKU displays a WFS Quantity, the item has already been converted to WFS.
If the WFS Quantity column is empty, the item has not yet been converted and cannot be included in a WFS shipment.
If there's a 0 in the column that means it has been converted to WFS or is WFS eligible.
Resolution
Step 1 – Convert the Item to WFS
In Walmart Seller Center:
Open Catalog.
Locate the affected SKUs.
Convert the item to Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS).
You can convert:
Individual items
Multiple items in bulk
In ScanPower Walmart WFS:
Open Catalog.
Locate the affected SKUs.
Convert the item to Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) individually.
Step 2 – Verify WFS Status
After conversion, confirm that:
The item is marked as WFS.
A WFS quantity is displayed.
Step 3 – Retry Shipment Creation
Once the item is successfully converted, return to ScanPower batch and create the shipment again.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does ScanPower reject the item?
ScanPower is displaying the validation response returned by Walmart. The item must meet Walmart's WFS requirements before it can be included in a shipment.
How do I know if an item has been converted to WFS?
Open Seller Center → Catalog.
If the SKU shows a WFS Quantity, the item is WFS-enabled.
If no WFS quantity is displayed, the item has not yet been converted.
Can ScanPower convert items to WFS?
Yes. Go to Walmart WFS > Catalog, locate the item to be converted to WFS and convert the item to wfs by clicking the 3 dots on the item.
