Inventory Valuation Report for Amazon Sellers

Written by Pankaj Singhal

Inventory valuation is the process of determining the cost value of the inventory you currently have in stock. For Amazon sellers, inventory valuation plays an important role in understanding how much capital is tied up in inventory and helps in business planning.

The Inventory Valuation Report provides a historical view of your inventory’s value based on saved inventory snapshots, allowing you to review inventory cost on specific dates.

Purpose of the Inventory Valuation Report

The Inventory Valuation Report helps you:

  • Review the value of your inventory for a selected date

  • Track inventory cost changes over time

  • Analyze product-level inventory investment

  • Improve purchasing and replenishment decisions

Accessing the Inventory Valuation Report

To access the report:

Inventory → Inventory Valuation
